Relax & Be Well, LLC New COVID-19 Massage Preparedness Plan and Protocols

Please read the following new COVID-19 massage therapy guidelines, then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of this page. By clicking submit, you are agreeing that you have read and understand the new protocols. These protocols are based on information from the CDC, OSHA, MDH and other massage resources. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Upon arrival to my scheduled appointment, I will fill out and submit the COVID-19 Liability Release Form, sent to me via text message or email, ON THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT.

When I arrive to my scheduled appointment, I will wait in my car until Andree acknowledges that it is okay to come in. It is imperative that the full time between clients is utilized to get the appropriate cleaning and disinfecting done to ensure everyone's safety. All cleaning and disinfecting products are EPA approved to kill COVID-19.

Before entering, I will have my forehead scanned with a non-contact thermometer to ensure I don't have a fever. If the thermometer reads a temperature over 100 degrees, I will be asked to leave and reschedule my appointment.

After removing my shoes (jacket if needed), I will get a squirt of hand sanitizer and clean my hands upon entering the massage room.

If I need to use the restroom, I will wash my hands with soap and water for 20-30 seconds, minimum, and use paper towel to dry them when I am finished.

I will be asked to wear a mask (required by the state of MN for massage therapist AND client) during my session. I can use my own CLEAN mask, otherwise one will be provided to me. If it's uncomfortable to wear a mask while face down on the table, side-lying position is an option for back work as well.

When I disrobe, I will put my clothes/belongings on the chair and table in the massage room.

Andree will thoroughly wash her hands and arms with warm water and soap prior to entering the massage room to start the session. She will also use a squirt of hand sanitizer immediately after entering the room, before touching her client.

Facial massage is prohibited until further notice.

All electronic payment devices will be sanitized after each client.

Tissues, a trash can and sanitizer will always be available to you before, during and after a session, should you need them.

Until further notice, only the person scheduled for a massage will be allowed in the massage room (along with massage therapist), unless said person is a minor, then they may be accompanied by one parent/guardian only.
